Eaton's Crouse-Hinds series MEDC XB15 range of 5, 10 and 15 Joule Xenon beacons is suitable for use in potentially explosive gas and dust atmospheres. Suitable for marine and both onshore and offshore environments in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.

Main Features

  • The housing is made entirely from UV-stable, glass-reinforced polyester (GRP), providing a lightweight, corrosion-free solution for harsh environments
  • The XB15 is equipped with a supervisory diode and four-wire lead connections to support alarm systems effectively
  • In addition to standard worldwide certifications, the XB15 meets EN54-23 and SIL1 standards
  • Certified for operation between -55°C to +70°C and designed to consistently energize even at the lowest temperatures of -55°C
  • The XB15 is available in a wide range of configurations to meet specific application requirements
