Product Overview

Explosion Proof MPEX Pull Stations are designed for use in Class I, II, and III hazardous areas. A hinged cover holds a sliding actuator plate in place. By lifting the cover and pulling down the ring, a compression spring is released, thus allowing the internal switching device (contact block) to return to its normal position, activating the alarm circuit.

Main Features

  • Enclosure is made of copper free cast aluminum alloy
  • 120V AC, 60Hz, 6A, with 2 - 3/4" NPT feed through conduit openings
  • Red, textured powder epoxy paint finish is standard on box and cover, providing high visibility for alarm station
  • UL Listed for Class I, Division 1, Groups C and D, Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F and G and Class III
  • Rated NEMA 7 for Groups C and D and NEMA 9 for Groups E, F and G
  • Lift cover and pull down ring to activate
  • UL, ULC and CSFM Listed
