Product Overview

The AC-MXNET-1G-EV2WP is an MXnet Evolution II encoder designed for precise multicast encoding of A/V signals with selectable switching between HDMI and USB-C inputs. This encoder supports native 4K/60 fps video at up to 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, including HDR and Dolby Vision with 8-, 10-, and 12-bit color depths, and handles 3D immersive audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Packaged as a low-profile NEMA double-gang wall plate, it is PoE powered and fits standard wall boxes, offering locally selectable inputs and minimal heat and power consumption. The device includes features like RS-232 control routing, status LED control, and generates a preview thumbnail for HDMI video sources, making it suitable for installations in desks, lecterns, or secured environments where clean, flexible operation is critical.
