Product Overview

The AVPro Edge AC-MXNET-1G-DV2 is a weatherproof video distribution decoder designed for durability in harsh environments, rated IP68 for protection against water, moisture, dust, salt-air, and corrosion. It features advanced JPEG 2000 encoding and decoding, supporting lossless and lossy compression, 4K/60fps video at high bit depths, and high bitrate multi-channel audio including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. This decoder includes a built-in OLED data status screen for setup and troubleshooting, supports IR and RS-232 control signal routing, and provides USB and KVM connectivity with expandable ports. The device is optimized for integration with Netgear switches through a dedicated AVPro Edge Profile for seamless operation.

  • Includes two USB ports per decoder with USB hub expandability and routing back to Encoder Host
  • Light emission and status LEDs can be controlled or disabled via MXnet Mentor software
