Use this non-proprietary, outdoor rain guard to give added protection to access control devices. Position card readers, intercoms, keypads, entry/exit buttons, and other devices beneath its 2.75" top overhang to shield them from rain, snow, and sun exposure. Protective hoods are most often used at pedestrian or vehicular access points in entryways, parking facilities, and gated entries. Includes a single gang mullion style cutout on face plate, .5" deep back box, with removable back mounting plate for a low profile footprint, with hidden mounting hardware. Designed to be used in tandem with single gang electrical boxes, for devices that are more than .5" deep. Single Gang Mullion (Narrow).
