The Space Age Electronics SSU-DSDP Duct Smoke Delivery Port is a duct detector accessory that gives technicians fast, repeatable access to introduce test smoke directly into the air duct, upwind of the sampling tubes, without cutting and patching the ductwork for every test. It is intended for indoor use with return-side duct smoke detectors up to 95 ft away and supply-side duct smoke detectors up to 4 ft away, per UL, and it supports the NFPA 72 requirement that duct smoke detector sampling tubes be tested to confirm they properly sample the duct airstream.

- Test smoke goes directly into the duct airstream upwind of the sampling tubes, so the detector is tested where it samples
- A fixed port means the ducting does not have to be cut and patched for each test
- Plugged 1″ NPT PVC port is a repeatable access point rather than a one-time opening.
- Galvanized metal mounting plate carries the port assembly on the duct
- Intended for indoor use with return-side or supply-side duct smoke detectors
