Code Call Station(s) shall be Alpha Communications / TekTone SF341B or approved equal. Code stations and wiring from code stations to patient stations shall be fully supervised. Operation of emergency signals shall be accomplished by a short pull on the (optional CA015K) nylon cord or (optional CA016K) TPU plastic cord or by pulling/pushing down on the BLUE lever marked "CODE". The RED "CALL PLACED" indicator shall flash to assure that the call has been properly placed. The initiation of the code call shall cause the activation of both audible and visual signals. Call cancellation shall be possible only at point of origination. Reliable, solid-state components shall be used and plug-in connectors shall be provided for electrical connections.
