Product Overview

The AC-MXNET-1G-E is an MXNet encoder/transmitter that converts HDMI audio/video signals into multicast data for distribution within AV installations. It supports encoding full 4K 4:4:4 60Hz HDMI video with audio, control, power, and HDR metadata at a flexible data rate up to 1G including 850Mbps peak rates. The device connects via CAT 5e or better cable or SFP fiber to MXNet switches or multicast-capable managed L3 network switches, supporting zero-latency transmission and standalone point-to-point use. Features include bandwidth management through MXNet mentor, USB/KVM host support, an OLED data display, full exterior light control, RS232 and IR routing, and serial passthrough. It is UL Listed, CE Certified, and FCC compliant, suitable for professional AV distribution systems.
